Coming to a MetroPCS near you!

Another U.S. wireless service provider has embraced Android. Beginning November 24, 2010, MetroPCS will offer its first Android device with the Optimus M, its version of the LG Optimus One.
Androinica.com readers should be able to rattle off the device specs by now: Android 2.2 operating system, 3.2-inch touchscreen, 3.2 MP cameras, and the inclusion of the Swype virtual keyboard. The MetroPCS version comes with a “high-end champagne finish” and is pre-loaded with the metro App Store for getting games, ringtones, and wallpapers.
If you are a MetroPCS customer looking to go Android, your time has finally arrived. MetroPCS customers will be able to get unlimited talk, web, and texting for $50 per month with no annual contract. The Optimus M costs $229 when purchased in full, a large reason that LG has managed to sell so many of the Optimus One devices.
