LG announced the world first and fastest dual-cord Smartphone, the LG Optimus 2X with Tegra 2 processor. The LG Optimus 2X was said to be available to Korea next month and also to other countries too. They haven’t said anything about any carrier in the U.S but rumors had suggested it “might” be available for Verizon and/or T-Mobile. That we don’t know that yet!
The new Smartphone well come with Android 2.2 (Froyo), but can be upgraded to the new Gingerbread 2.3. As for the source code, Google is releasing the full Gingerbread source code after the Nexus S launch and it will take LG several weeks to upgrade their new phone.
